Card Hanger Project

Morning all, I hope this finds you well!

For a little while I've been trying to find a solution to hang the lovely cards I receive off all my friends, usually they get slotted into my Venetian blind, and blow down with the wind, or with me moving the blind! So not an ideal spot!

So a better idea was needed and I found a tutorial online for this memory board, but I didn't want the pocket, so I altered it to suit my own tastes and this is what I came up with.

So all it is, is a blank canvas, covered over with some material and stapled to the back, and some lines of ribbon also stapled along toward the back for hooking and clipping cards to!

Heres what it looks like with some cards on:

These cards are both from the very talented Jess Doyle, check her out!

I am really happy with how this project came together and it was so quick and easy, something anyone could do! So hopefully you might try it yourself if you can't find a memo board you are happy with!

Thanks for looking and have a great new week!!!

Valentine Love Card...

Morning all, Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a great weekend so far!

I made a card today, which is kind of valentiney, but I guess could certainly be used for anytime!

I am loving my twine lately! Just don't seem to get enough ideas to be able to use it enough thought!

Thanks for looking and I hope you liked this card!

Linen Comfort Complaint Review

*My regular bloggers feel free to ignore this post*

This is just a review and warning to others in Australia to be very wary of the company Linen Comfort Australia!

Just want to bring to light this company that seems to outwardly have good reviews, but behind the scenes obviously deals in sub-par highly priced goods, and refuses to cooperate or accept any responsibility for their dodgy goods!

www.linencomfort.com.au/
http://stores.ebay.com.au/Linen-Comfort?_rdc=1

A week ago I ordered a coverlet bed quilt set from them, on their site and was happy with their 14 day money back guarantee... But evidently what they write on their site isn't what they practice!

Within days of having the quilt in my room, I found my room becoming overly dusty and began getting this horrible white fluff and dust consuming my room and person and giving me itching and a bad cough/blocked nose etc.

I tried brushing it with a lint brush, and got HUGE amounts of fluff coming from the quilt, and figured washing it should fix the problem. I washed it in the machine according to the tag instructions, cold water and gentle wash.

Opening the washing machine, it was like a Snow day! With fluff blocking every orifice of the machine! It was disgusting. Two more gentle washes and it was the same and actually getting worse! Taking it out and letting it dry we noticed that the seams were now coming undone, and a lot of threading happening!

I contacted them telling them of this and all I was met with was refusal to take any responsibility for their goods with several excuses.

'Jenny' stated that I obviously didn't wash it as per instructions, Yes I did!
She then stated that they do not accept returns of used items. Why would you return something you never used?
She stated that no other people have complained about this. (hard to believe with the massive problem I had!)

and heres the kicker... offered to refund half of what I paid as long as I showed photos of proof of all this occurring and sent the item back. (sending the item back isn't a problem, but photos? c'mon I really didn't think Linen Comfort would be so snide! and to then only want to pay me back HALF of what I paid, when it clearly states on their website that they will refund for faulty and damaged goods!)

All in all I am getting the big run-around from 'Jenny' making up many excuses as she goes so that they do not have to take any responsibility for the dodgy, faulty sub-par item.

So as of today, Fair Trading has been contacted, and I am seeking them to get a refund of the full amount of money as I am entitled to according to the consumer and merchant standards on their website.

Will let you know what comes out of all this, and in the meantime just heed this warning and don't deal with Linen Comfort, as they cannot be trusted!

Couple of 'sweet and tasty' Valentines

Good Day to you all, I hope this finds you well!

Had a busy couple of days, keeping myself out of mischief, but made these two simple yet tasty Valentines to show you:

These are Cricut cut treats, but they were sent to me from a swap I was a part of on facebook!

They certainly look good enough to eat right?

Just kept them simple with some loveheart paper and a sentiment.

I hope you like these two simple cards!

Thanks so much for leaving me such awesome comments, I really appreciate it!
